What is GMAT?

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized assessment that helps business schools assess the ability of applicants for advanced study in business and management. Conducted by the MBA examination body - the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the test is used by management schools as one of the predictors of academic potential for success in MBA program or in other graduate management programs. GMAT exam measures basic Verbal, Mathematical, Analytical Writing and Integrated Reasoning skills.  The GMAT exam is delivered entirely in English and solely on computer.

Most of the universities abroad require GMAT for any management course. It is also the best window of opportunity for any candidate to get a university of his/her choice as well as to win a scholarship. Unlike undergraduate grades and curricula, which vary across regions and institutions, your GMAT scores provide a statistically reliable measure of how you are likely to perform academically in the core curriculum of a management program.

Who should take the GMAT?

Candidates who apply for any graduate management program in the countries like USA, UK and Canada CAN go for the GMAT test but candidates applying for any Master’s courses in management MUST take the GMAT.
